Job Description:
Seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist for the CVOR unit. Responsible for assisting in cardiovascular procedures, ensuring sterile techniques, setting up and operating Belmont and cell saver equipment, and directly interfacing with patients.
Responsibilities:
- Scrub or circulate procedures, room setup, and turnover
- Obtain disposables and instrument sets as needed
- Ensure excellent patient communication and collaboration with healthcare providers
- Float to main operating rooms as required
- Assist with open heart procedures, CABG, MVR, TVR, AVR, VATS, and vascular procedures
Requirements:
- BLS Certification
- Teamwork and ability to proactively plan
- Advanced skills in sterile technique, central line, and art line setup
- Experience with Belmont setup and operation, cell saver setup
- CNOR Certification preferred
